Roualla surrounds herself with the best, reputable, independent artisans for the production of her creations.
Each piece is unique and recognisable by her signature: a small ladybird enamelled by the “Louvre Enamellers”.
This concept was inspired by the name of a tribe of desert nomads, whose tents were their castles!
Silence, authenticity and vision are the vital ingredients which made this project’s completion possible.
Creating these unique pieces of jewellery was a journey in which every mote of dust played a role.
The creative process was accompanied by poetry, revealing all the music that gently lulled pen and paper, like a sail boat navigating at the mercy of the waves and the breeze.
I desired a concept that was free and creative, in which every sense could exist in its own right, and grow so as to form a whole. Each piece is a unique soul with a sense of the remarkable: the turtle upon a dragon is a dual symbol of rarity!
An appetite for contrasts and openness has allowed me to bring opposing forces together in a combination of reeds, joy and tenderness – and create!
